Bettina Abascal · bettina@momentum-reps.com

( hello )

Hi, I’m Bettina

I spent 18 months at Y&R and three years at a production company before I started Momentum in 2003. Twenty-three years later the job hasn’t changed. A producer calls with a brief nobody has a partner for, and I find the one who can make it.

An agency once asked me for a macro photographer for Pepsi. Fifteen minutes on Zoom with the creatives and it was clear they needed an origami artist folding burger wrappers to hide Pepsi logos. I found the artist and the photographer, and Better with Pepsi won at Cannes Lions.

This deck is the partners I call, and when I’d call each one.

( what they say )

She knows practically everyone in the industry and consistently finds a way to get you out of any jam.

( how it works )

Our partners pay us. You never do.

We do the production homework, and the partners we represent carry the fee. That’s why we can tell you when the answer is someone we don’t represent.

01

Build the relationship

We start with the problem you’re actually trying to solve. The long conversations are where the answer turns up.

02

Inspire what’s possible

We put traditional and next-gen methods in front of you, with the people already using them.

03

Match the right partner

One company for the whole scope, or four specialists. We stay on through production.

04

Cross-pollinate

A method proven on a stunt shows up in a social build. What one category learns, the next one gets.

Music + culture

( a director for bose ) afterhrs.

Ben Solomon

He makes films about the people who carry a culture: musicians, neighborhoods, communities. Shot vertical, they still feel cinematic.

Why him for Bose

Bose lives in music and in the communities around it. He already tells those stories for Nike, in the format people watch them in.

What we’re seeing most right now, and Bose already does

Small crews, real people and creators, shot for the feed first and built to run all year.

( 01 )

Real people, in their own world

Runners, hikers and listeners filmed where they are, with remote direction across many markets at once.

( 02 )

Creators, not influencers

YouTube-level makers matched to the brand, with a director keeping every piece in Bose’s look.

( 03 )

Always on, every version

One shoot becomes a month of posts: cutdowns, color drops and language versions, all on brand.

Film, TV and beyond

( branded entertainment )

Brave Art Entertainment

A film and TV company that brings an athlete’s discipline to storytelling. Founded by Lesley Paterson: Oscar-nominated, BAFTA-winning writer-producer and five-time world champion triathlete.

Why now

In June, Bose launched Bose Studios: music, film, TV, digital and live, made to move past campaign-driven marketing. Brave Art makes exactly that kind of work.

Film

Lesley co-wrote All Quiet on the Western Front: BAFTA for Adapted Screenplay, Oscar nomination.

Series

Scripted and unscripted development at any pace, from a sprint to a long-term production. Next up: The Start, with Upworthy.

Books and coaching

250K+

The team

EP Gabriela Cocco-Sanchez launched Bunim-Murray’s Latin division. Director Ellie Lloyd has made work for Netflix, Apple TV, Disney, Spotify and the NBA.

Spy thriller hybrid

An unscripted series built like a spy thriller, with Audrey Morrissey, showrunner of The Voice.
